YFTAs Roundtables: Decoding EU Influencers

The Young Fair Trade Advocates (YFTAs) launched a series of webinars from September to December, with different EU influencers: EU Activists, EU Policy Makers, EU NGOs and EU Journalists.

The objective of these roundtables is to collect diverse perspectives from EU influencers as to advance different demands within the EU context:

What are the different barriers, challenges, solutions and/or key leverage points that the influential people at EU level use to get their demands through?

Through these roundtables, young EU citizens will directly learn from EU influencers about effective advocacy strategies, building alliances, engaging with policymakers, leveraging public opinion, and utilizing social and traditional media to advance their agendas.

In the end, getting direct insights from the insiders themselves will ensure the Young Fair Trade Advocates’ approach to policy advocacy ensures that their efforts are well-informed, targeted, and aligned with the realities of the policy-making process.
