Imagine a fashion industry that puts people before profit. One that meets real needs without exploiting workers or harming the environment. This future is within reach, but only if we act together to defend the right to a decent life and a sustainable future for all.

On May 1st, International Workers' Day, more than 230 associations and trade unions across 43 countries unite to launch the “Fashioning a Just Transition Manifesto” bringing together the voices of workers, young people and allies to shape a fairer future for the sector. 

This initiative is led by the global Clean Clothes Campaign network, represented in Belgium by achACT and Schone Kleren Campagne.
